This house under construction on Ferrie Street in Hamilton has been flagged as being unstable, and the street was closed off for safety while the structure gets stabilized by the city. I was there last weekend, so just had to stop by and see if for myself

This is the Benjamin N. Duke House in NYC, located right across from the Met. It's currently listed for sale, for $80,000,000 USD! 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms over 7 floors + a basement. Oh, and the property taxes are $23,000 USD per month!
While this appears to be a grand old house that has been partly submerged by rushing waters, it's actually a replica of an inn in the French town of Lavau-sur-Loire. The creators did a great job, it looks quite real!

What a unique house 
Built to look like a boat, it's located in Au Gres, Michigan, and is known as the SS Hurona. Built in 1936, it is situated where Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay meet, and is placed so that both sunrises and sunsets are visible from it.
All these houses feature a butterfly roof, where the two roof surfaces slope towards the middle, as opposed to sloping towards the edge. They allow for larger windows, but aren't commonly seen in climates with lots of snow (the roof wouldn't be able to support the extra weight well)
