Yesterday I was told about a house style I hadn't heard of before, called a Vancouver special. These houses were built in the Vancouver area, mostly between the mid 60's and mid 80's.
They are 2 storey, boxy houses, built on grade, with low pitched roofs, and a balcony on the 2nd floor. Pretty cool!
